About Us

Save the Cowboy

Save the Cowboy FUNDS, TRAINS, and EQUIPS cowboys and cowgirls that have been called into various forms of ministry.

A cowboy isn’t a person. A cowboy is an attitude.

Save the Cowboy FUNDS new start missions through public and private donations as well as corporate donations and scholarships.

Save the Cowboy TRAINS people how to spread the Gospel as well as keep alive those cowboy morals that are so essential to the cowboy, as well as the Christian life.

Save the Cowboy EQUIPS ministries of all types with the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to be the cowboys and cowgirls God has called them to be and to make this world a better place by bringing back to life the values that this country was built upon.

A Non-Profit Orgranization dedicated to reaching the masses for Jesus Christ through the values that have made the cowboy famous.

We gather cowboys and cowgirls, whether they are on a horse or just a cowboy at heart, and encourage them to live a life of honesty and integrity the way Jesus Christ commanded us to.

Our work is never done and we strive to gather, feed, and send more out on the Great Cow-mission every day.

All of this great country and hopefully one day beyond, we encourage cowboys and cowgirls to have a ministry right where they are.

The cowboy is a great example of how every Christian should live: honestly, truthfully, courageously, with love and respect. In keeping these cowboy values alive, and teaching them to others, Save the Cowboy will be helping build the Kingdom of God.

What are you waiting on?

We Have Strict Standards

Save the Cowboy Code of Conduct

  • Put God first in yer life
  • Yer first ministry is to your spouse and young-ins if you got ’em
  • Go meet cowboys and cowgirls where they’re at, not where you expect ’em to be
  • If you can’t say somethin’ a cowboy can understand, then don’t be a sayin’ it
  • Be the same feller or gal on Friday that you are on Sunday
  • Be a cowboy at all times in word, wear, and way
  • Christianity isn’t a religion, it’s a relationship
  • Cowboys won’t listen to pansies…be a MAN

Christianity is just “Cowboying” for God

A personal letter to you!

My name is Kevin Weatherby and I am the founder of Save the Cowboy. I’d like to thank you for making it this far. I just want you to know that God has a purpose for you.

Did you ever wonder why you are always drawn to horses or cattle? Have you ever wondered why you felt more at home in an arena than you did in a fancy church? Have you ever felt like you were meant for something more?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, chances are that you have recognized God’s calling on your life.

I just want to say that Save the Cowboy will be here to help you get started in any way we can. Being in ministry doesn’t mean you have to be the pastor of a church or a missionary in Antarctica. We can help you get started today!
